January 11 is the preliminary date scheduled for court clerk John Beideman's hearing

Intervention and preliminary dates are expected to be set for John Beideman this morning. After attorneys discussed scheduling, Intervention was set for January 4. Preliminary for January 11.

Time estimate was an hour and 10 minutes unless it is a "live" preliminary hearing which means the alleged victim would testify.

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads.  Beideman is being represented by Deputy Public Defender Joanne Carter.

The change in which Deputy Public Defender was representing him was a surprise to court staff.

Since a Visiting Judge has to hear this case, that affects scheduling.

No one besides court staff, attorneys, the victim's mother, victim witness and myself were in court this morning.
