Jurors started deliberations on 9/3 and found Thomas Stokes guilty on all charges on 9/4 in his assault, battery and vandalism misdemeanor case.
Deputy DA Dave Watson was the prosecutor. Stokes was represented by Ken Bareilles. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran presided over the trial.
Victim Michelle Helm present via Zoom addressed Judge Killoran.
Stokes was sentenced the same day to three years probation and sentenced to 1 day in jail and given credit for 1 day served.
There is a hearing scheduled on 10/7/26 for a Prohibited Person's Report.
