Bob Doran sues City of Eureka; it is another I tripped, fell lawsuit

 

Cal Poly Humboldt employee Robert Allen Doran known to locals as Bob Doran is suing City of Eureka. The complaint lists premises liability. It is another I was walking, I tripped on the cracks in the sidewalk and fell lawsuit against the City of Eureka. 

The lawsuit was filed on 4/16/26. A Case Management Conference is scheduled for 10/16/26.

Doran is represented by Santa Ana attorney Mr. Eric Traut. City of Eureka by Mr. Matthew Bertini of Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman and Wenzel; a San Francisco law firm.

Mr. Bertini filed a declaration explaining why the City of Eureka should be granted an extension to respond to Doran's complaint. Two of those reasons are filing a demurrer and a motion to strike.
