This is a lawsuit no one else covered. The September 13, 2022 post has updates and court documents until this post and the most recent hearing.
On June 4, 2026, there was a notice of settlement filed in John Doe vs Fortuna Elementary School District, Mat Bigham, Matthew Gibson.
There was obviously no need for trial assignment date on 6/26 and jury trial that was suppised to start on 6/29.
A dismissal hearing is scheduled for 7/13.
