You heard the County's side; let's see what Humboldt Superior Court has to say about the process

I did a post yesterday about an agenda item on this Tuesday's Board of Supervisor meetings about courthouse security screenings and the impact due to changes in funding contributions from Humboldt Superior Court. I posted four pages of a staff report by the County.

I did email Court administration. Over the weekend, I did hear back from Humboldt Superior Court Presiding Judge Kelly Neel. On Monday, I spoke with Humboldt Superior Court CEO Meara Hattan and I will be doing a separate post presenting the Court's side. 

The Board of Supervisor's meeting is Tuesday. I have a 3 day preliminary hearing in a high profile case Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, in addition to a jam packed court week after the holidays. Court administration and judges are all very busy and more so after the holiday.
