Open Range Beef granted $247,053.38 in lawsuit against Mario Avelar who is also on Humboldt property tax default list

Mario Avelar manages all of Ray Christie's properties. This according to testimony and documents in Ray Christie's 2018 court case and corroborated by community members in Arcata. Avelar will be a key witness in Ray Christie's 2018 case which is scheduled to go to trial, again, in August.

I received an anonymous tip about a 2023 case involving Avelar. The case text link has a lot of details including factual opinion and background. Open Range Beef granted $247,053.38 in lawsuit against Mario Avelar. The lawsuit alleged breach of contract and other claims.

I had also seen Avelar's name in the property tax default list back in June.

I have heard that Christie has been traveling to LA for treatment, spending a lot of time there and most recently, Christie looks well. "Well" of course is a subjective opinion by one person. I have not seen Ray in months. Will there be another medical continuance by the defense closer to trial confirmation in August? With the courts jammed, will that trial be pushed back further? Does anyone except a few people with vested interests even care at this point about the Christie trial?

My January 2023 post on Christie pissed Mario off. He can be livid about this one all he wants but it isn't any different than any other post like the one on Shamus or Mazzotti lawsuits. There are people in Humboldt who go around prancing like there are all that. If they want to keep up with the Joneses, they should pay their bills. The public should know what kind of people they are supporting with their money or allegiance.

Go look up local Mario Avelar lawsuits in Humboldt Superior Court. I did this post in April 2022 based on local court records.

Excerpt from that post: Joe Manni has a current lawsuit in which he is suing the Alexandre family. That is the former employer mentioned in his declaration in the latest defense motion in the Ray Christie case filed today.

Manni has previously sued Mario Avelar. Avelar has previously sued Ray Christie and is now doing business with Ray Christie. Manni and Mario Avelar have now written declarations for Christie. Ask yourself why?

Joe Manni is another potential witness for Christie. Since my April 2022 post, that case settled in April 2023. It is scheduled for dismissal in 2025.

Here is another ink to a 2019 lawsuit filed by Standard Cattle against Mario Avelar.
