Gallaghers no longer locally owned, bulk transfer to new owner

 

There is a legal notice about Gallaghers Irish Pub Inc about a bulk transfer to Jasper Enterprises, LLC "on or after August 3, 2023." There are three different searches with a company in three different states but could not find a Mark Hill in either of the listings.

I called Gallaghers/Shenanigans and spoke with Melissa who said they are not closing. I then tried current owner Kelly Erben. She has not returned my call for this post. I left a message and some questions. 

I did get an email which I cannot authenticate nor could I verify the information provided about Jasper LLC in the email. I asked the person claiming they are the new owner for information I can verify, including a name. It but it has been more than 48 hours and nothing. In that email, the person said they grew up on a cattle ranch in Hydesville.

Update: On 8/4, I heard from Kelly. "Hey john, yes I am retiring and have sold the restaurant to a local person, Mark Hill, who is keeping it as Gallagher's and keeping the staff and the menu. Most of my long-term customers have been prepared for this for over a year and the transition is going seamlessly we've been in progress for two months already. Again he is keeping the vision the same. There may be a few menu updates as he is scouting out more Irish type specials. Hope you are well"

There was a bit more in the text about me asking Kelly if she was staying in the area. I have known her for years from the original Gallagher's in Old Town. That was a personal conversation and not for the blog.
