Dozier and current girlfriend credibility destroyed after HCSO deputy and detective testify, why was Felder upset and why didnt Dozier answer if he responded to her texts?

The preliminary hearing and arguments for voluntary manslaughter suspect Daniel Dozier concluded today.

Dozier was held to answer on all charges. People will be amending charges to murder and assault with a semi automatic for jury trial. Custodial status will be addressed at arraignment with People seeking an increase in bail. Dozier waived time for arraignment on information which is scheduled for August 10.

After HCSO Deputy Jonathan Gomez Bray and Detective Danielle Vickman testified this morning, Dozier's current girlfriend Luccille Wetzel's credibility is toast. Multiple versions of the incident to law enforcement, Wetzel's testimony different in court than what she told deputies, Dozier giving multiple versions, his testimony and Wetzel contradicting each other, law enforcement funding no damage to front door or the house except for the bullethole is just some of the new information today. Wetzel told law enforcement she shimmied and was able to push Felder out the door?

Felder tried to text Dozier before coming over, she slapped him, allegedly called him a derogatory word ,"C__t" but that is according to Dozier so who knows? Dozier did have a permit for the Glock he used to shoot Felder but he had two illegal firearms. Felder's BAC was .23 and she drove there.

Defense previously indicated that she took an Uber there and where that came from, I don't know and it was not addressed. Felder was unarmed. Deputy Gomez Bray said both Dozier and Wetzel were calm and Detective Vickman said when she interviewed Dozier he was calm and monotone.

Ms. Andrea Sullivan is an excellent attorney but she is not a miracle worker. She cannot change facts and she has to work with what Dozier and Wetzel said and did, which was their choice. You dont get to physically attack and escalate the situation with the person who got shot and then concoct a story to claim you shot in self defense, omit information and make different statements in court, especially when evidence does not back your claims. Both Wetzel had plenty of chances to let Felder be, stay inside the house instead of engaging her and provoking her.

Before shooting Felder, Dozier claims he warned her he would shoot her. How do we know? Wetzel didn't hear that; Felder is dead; all we have is Dozier whose claims of break in were not corroborated and who changed statements he made to law enforcement.

The initial call came in at 12:56, 13 seconds. The call was created at 12:57 and dispatched at 12:58. Deputy Gomez Bray and Det. Vickman arrived at 1:01. Deputy Gomez Bray testified that they had not even left the Mckinleyville parking station when the call was changed to shots fired.

"Does he explain to you how he closes the door with a gun in one hand and a cell phone in another?" Mr. Rees asked Det. Vickman.

"This is a tragic situation. But for a gun being in the situation; there would be no loss of life," said Judge Joyce Hinrichs. "As you listen to the 911 tape, there is quite a delay in making the 911 call. "

The delay in making the call may go to percieved guilt, said Judge Hinrichs.

Dozier had a relationship with two women and looks like both women were surprised that night and learned about each other when one was drunk and being ignored by Dozier. The other woman let her feelings cloud her judgement and believed Dozier. If this goes to trial, let's see what the text messages between Dozier and Felder reveal.

Felder's parents were in court today and plan to be there at every hearing. Dozier's parents were not there today.
