Bags and scales to be tested, Acosta to file motion for change of venue

 

An amended motion to disqualify the Humboldt County DA was filed by Acosta. The gist is basically the same. That motion will be heard on 7/17. Acosta plans to file a motion for a change of venue which will be heard on the same day. On 6/30, Acosta got his wish to have two bags and a scale tested. 

Trial confirmation scheduled for 7/10 will most likely be continued. Jury trial currently scheduled for 7/24 looks unlikely.
