Juvenile charged with attempted murder and largest bust of fentanyl pills will not be tried in adult court

(Contreras is now an adult)

After a hearing that lasted two days from April 25th to April 27th, today Judge Gregory Kreis issued a written ruling in Decker Wolfgang Contreras' juvenile case denying transfer to adult court. This is a 2018 case and he is no longer a juvenile.

Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Contreras' attorney. He was charged with attempted murder and  holds the record for one of the highest number of fentanyl busts, over 900 pills. Earlier in the day, before the bust, he had shot at 2 people.

Ms. Sullivan has represented other juveniles including Joe Olivo, Jr. Search this blog or Google her several high profile cases. Ms. Sullivan practices in several California counties including Humboldt, Mendocino and Lake County. I covered Ms. Sullivan before she was an advertiser. The ads you see on this blog are people I chose because I have watched them in court, know their record and this blog is a resource and information to this community first. People trust me, especially when it comes to local courts. I do not put tons of ads on my blog or take any just any ad.

Deputy District Attorney Rees was the prosecutor who appeared for the People at this hearing.
