Michael sends motion to CA DOJ to disqualify Humboldt DA "for the institutional and personal conflicts of interest between itself, its agent former Special Agent Matt Tomlin, and First District Supervisor Rex Bohn."

Michael Acosta sent an email to Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Ian Harris, California State Attorney Rob Bonta and California Department of Justice Public Inquiry Unit.

"Attached hereto is my Motion to Disqualify the Humboldt County District Attorney's Office in Humboldt County Superior Court case #CR2001060A for the institutional and personal conflicts of interest between itself, its agent former Special Agent Matt Tomlin, and First District Supervisor Rex Bohn."

I will add more from the motion when I am sure Humboldt Superior Court accepts it. They have been rejecting his filings lately and he ends up refiling.

In e court, it is listed as Motion to disqualify District Attorney from performing an authorized duty. This motion is scheduled to be heard with the 995 motion and request for Judicial Notice on 6/23.

The entire file on this case is not available at this time because it is with court administration. I checked with both the clerk's and e court and the DA did not file the response regarding the bag by the deadline ordered by Associate Justice Stuart Pollak which was 6/9.

Until then read the previous posts, at least the last two, for more context.

6/14: Humboldt Superior did not add the motion on 6/9 but several days later, as usual, although that is not accurately reflected in e court. An order for DNA expert requested by Acosta was granted by Justice Pollak. I will add both documents in a separate post. After I sent an email on 6/12 to Humboldt Court Operations Manager Kelly Nyberg, court minutes from 6/7 were finally added to Acosta's case. I already covered that hearing in detail.
