Motion to sever counts was denied in murder suspect Brandon Watson's case



Motion to sever was scheduled on May 28 for murder suspect Brandon Watson. It was continued to June 11.

Defense had filed a motion to sever counts. The People opposed the motion. Motion to sever was denied.

Count 1 is Murder. Special allegation use of a deadly weapon, a knife. Victim Peter Triantos.

Count 2 is assault with a deadly weapon. Victims listed in complaint are Antony Besselieu-Hill and Brian Edwards

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for the case. Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Watson's attorney.

Trial confirmation is scheduled on July 16 and jury trial for August 3.
