Pre trial for murder suspect Brandon Watson was scheduled for February 21. At that time, future dates were confirmed.
Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for the case. Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Watson's attorney.
Defense filed a motion to sever counts. "Given the current circumstances" Ms. Sullivan said ,"it was unlikely the motion would proceed today" and asked an evidentiary hearing be setand current dates be vacated.
Mr. Rees agreed about current dates but said the victim's family wanted a trial date set today. Victim is Peter Triantos. The people will file a written oppositon to the defense motion.
Today, the April dates were vacated. Motion to sever counts is scheduled for May 28, trial confirmation on July 16 and jury trial for August 3.
