The Redding-Searchlight reported that Shasta County Department of Public Health said a woman in her 70s the second resident in Shasta County to test positive for the coronavirus. She is being isolated at a local hospital. "She recently traveled to an area in California with known community transmission." Total for North State is 6.
The Modesto Bee reported that two more Stanislaus County residents tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total to 8.
KDVR reports two positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Siskiyou County.
