Public visitation temporarily suspended at Humboldt County jail

"Effective at noon today, public visitation will be temporarily suspended at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We will no longer be conducting public visitation for the duration of the shelter in place in Humboldt County. While this is in place, incarcerated individuals will be offered two free 10-minute phone calls per week.

We understand the need for those incarcerated to stay in contact with their loved ones, but we have a responsibility to the safety of the entire community to adhere to the shelter in place. We are hoping that these efforts will help us make a difference in #flatteningthecurve." HCSO
