There was a hearing on 5/26 and yesterday Hugo Parral-Aguirre was transported back from the State Hospital to the local jail. He has been at the State Hospital since September 2019.
Interim Public Defender Meagan O'Connell was his attorney when she was with Conflict Counsel. Certification of competency hearing is scheduled for June 11.
At the May 26 hearing, Deputy District Attorney Candance Myers appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Conflict Counsel R. J. Leohner was in court for his office.
