When two Humboldt judges overrule another judge, that is not only disrespectful but this is why there is a constant backlog in Humboldt courts; another civil lawsuit filed Uonan aka "Chicago John"

On 6/16/26 Nicholas Machado aka "KGB" and Uonan Uonan aka "Chicago John" 2024 human trafficking case was scheduled for preliminary hearing, motion to continue and termination of supervised release in Machado's case. Motion to continue by DA was granted but supervised release was reinstated by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum. Preliminary hearing rescheduled for 8/13.

This case has dragged on for years now. Read through previous posts. Local attorney Ben Okin made a special appearance for Uonan's attorney Mark Reichel.

Uonan Uonan, John Uonan,  Uonan Farms and YoYo amusement LLC, Natalie Sanchez are being  sued in lawsuit filed on 4/9/26 by Kimberly and James Sullivan. The Sullivans are represented by Zwerdling Law Firm.
