David Collenberg, failed Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of California in the June 2, 2026 election is being sued by local attorney Cyndy Day-Wilson.
The lawsuit is for breach of contract. Ms. Day-Wilson's complaint states an unpaid balance of $75, 986.78 "to date" which was on December 8, 2025. The complaint wasn't file stamped until December 17, 2025. A request for entry of default was filed on June 8, 2026.
This morning was the first hearing, a Case Management Conference.

Court were minutes not available until 6/19. Collenberg was a no show. A Case Management Conference is scheduled for 7/13 but Judge Canning said if a default has been filed, there is no need to appear at the next date.
