Lila Ortega fails to appear in court and defense think she deserves a plea?

 

Lila Ortega failed to appear in court yesterday for trial setting in her 2024 case for organized retail theft and petty theft.

A bench warrant for $5,000 was issued by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran and will be until 1/20/26. Defense says there may a resolution. 

Unless she has a valid and good excuse, Ortega deserves jail time and legal consequences; not a plea.
