The bear tormenting and squatting under Ken Johnson's home was evicted. Where California Department of Fish and Wildlife failed; BEAR League, a nonprofit based in Lake Tahoe, offered to help at no cost and succeeded.
BEAR League used the same methods at CDFW and it took them 10 minutes, Johnson said. This versus months of failure by the state.
