Amos Lee Nuckols is now a convicted sex offender, resolved his case for the same crime as former Humboldt court mediator Joe Hale

Remember sexual battery suspect Amos Nuckols? He is now a convicted sex offender.

I had exclusive details in my coverage such as an arrest for similar charges in Minnesota, that he picked up Jane Doe at Bonomini's market and what happened when I called North Bay Medical Transit company to confirm his employment.

Yesterday, the day of his preliminary hearing, Nuckols resolved his case, entered a guilty plea to Count 3 PC 647 (j) (2) criminal invasion of privacy. That is the same crime former Humboldt court mediator Joe Hale.

Nuckols was sentenced by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward to 6 months of probation, 217 days in jail which were covered by custody credits for time served and register as a sex offender. Review hearing  of status of sex offender registration is scheduled for 2/3/26.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm appeared on the case for the People. Mr. Gregory Kreis is Nuckols' attorney.

Nuckols has many Facebook profiles, according to one he previously worked at the Times Standard.
