Yesterday, I did a post about an EPD investigation and today I sent a PRA to the City of Eureka.

Eureka Police Department Chief Brian Stephens sent me the following response at 11:29 a.m.

"Good Morning John,

Thanks for reaching out with your inquiry.  I have no comment at this time, on your request, as there is an ongoing and active investigation into an alleged crime."

At 4:47 p.m. EPD Chief Stephens sent me another email. "New evidence was located today by our Criminal Investigations Unit and I can tell you that this investigation has no connection to employees of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department or the Humboldt County Probation Department.  It is still an ongoing and active investigation and we will not be making any other comments at this time.  Thank you!"

I still intend to follow with the PRA and what happened.
