This is why Jose Guzman Jimenez should never have been granted probation after pleading guiltyto felony hit and run with injury. He is represented by Mr. Benjamin Okin, one of scandal ridden Judge Gregory Kreis' endorsers.
On 1/9/24 Jimenez was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 4 days. Counts 2, 3, 4 dismissed by Retired Judge John Feeney. Commit to jail date was 2/10/24. Judge Feeney is the first name on Kreis' endorsement list. So who is soft on crime?
This is the guy who fled the crime scene. Remember when EPD responded to a report of a pedestrian in the roadwalk at 5th and K and there was no vehicle was at the scene.
I did not see Jimenez's name on the booking log for his commit to jail date. I checked with jail staff and was told the last time he was in the system was 2023. Nothing filed in e court, checked 2/16/24, checked 2/17/24 and just checked today. Checked HCSO warrant list last updated 2/14/24 which is cumbersome to search through. No warrant. No petition for probation. I took a screenshot today of his case in e court and the last document filed was by Probation on 1/23/24.
