Humboldt County in national news again? Another high profile federal lawsuit against the County but not filed in Humboldt?

The first article is supposed to be published this Monday, March 18 in The Atlantic and one of the people who was supposed to be interviewed was Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal. Ray Christie who told me wouldn't say more and is not sure if Sheriff Honsal will be in the final version.

Christie is prone to exaggeration so let's see if this will be the "wave" or "bombshell" claimed which are words used by him. This is supposedly part one of this "wave."

The other one is a lawsuit against the County and possibly some employees in the local courts by Christie. There was supposed to be a filing in federal court in February 2024, which now seems to be delayed. It will not be filed in Humboldt county but a court in a major California metropolitan area. I gave a hint few months ago. I knew about this new lawsuit for months. Christie's local case concluded in December 2023. He got a slap on the wrist in a backroom deal in a closed courtroom hearing from ousted scandal ridden incumbent Gregory Kreis and the DA's office so there would be no more unwarranted attention on the incompetent bumbling from HCSO, the DA's office and Kreis and his buddies. They cleared the way for this new lawsuit. If these people were being personally sued, I would not care but this will only cost the taxpayers.

You can thank the good ole boys, especially Rex Bohn and Gregory Kreis and all their buddies and enablers as well as the incompetence and nepotism in Humboldt when these national headlines embarass this county; again. Who will be the sacrificial lamb like Patrick McTigue this time?
