On March 20, I was the first to report on this lawsuit filesd on 3/15 in Sacramento Superior Court. One part of my PRA response was answered last week about this lawsuit being on today's BOS agenda.
Today, I received an answer to the second part of my PRA request. Mr. Adam J. Hepworth from Foley & Lardner LLP will represent the County in this lawsuit. Foley and Lardner have offices nationwide including LA, Sacramento and San Francisco.
Mr. Hepworth is a partner in the LA firm. His bio states that his "practice focuses on Medicaid and Medicare, administrative appeals, health privacy laws, and compliance with health care fraud and abuse laws. Prior to joining Foley, Adam was a law clerk for Judge Harris L. Hartz on the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals."
