If people are being downtrodden and mistreated, it's our obligation, it's our responsibility to speak out, not just for ourselves but for others.

 

I write this for all of you who need to hear it today and because I know what you struggle with and have. In today's digital society, in rural isolated Humboldt, one does feel alone and unsupported. For those of you who reach out; for those who have remained true to me for 20 years; this is for you. Thank you.

Sometimes in the past I have shared messages from my readers in Humboldt, California and all over the U.S. who regularly email me with thanks and encouragement. Recently, I am hearing from more and more people outside Humboldt. I received two messages from readers in California. One is connected to a post I did last week and  will be include in a follow post. This one I received a few days ago. It is from a few people in LA. My community is bigger than Humboldt and it was a reminder I am very grateful for and needed this week.

"Warm Greetings John, Best wishes, thank you for your honesty, bravery, & fearless service to our community. Even (&especially ) when we are silent, know that we’re here offering our sincere gratitude & support. Your courage does not go unnoticed."

This is another message I received after my post from someone who thankfully escaped the Humboldt "hell" created by the very people I callout on my blog, especially the courts, the politicians and the good ole boys. 

"Hey John, I just read your most recent article. I hope you see how vital your work is and it’s impact, especially in light of your most recent post. Well done, my friend! Thanks again for your diligence, your hard work and mostly for your perseverance in the face of the corrupt adversity you face every day for the sake of the truth. Stay the course, John. Yours is a noble battle! Thank you!"

My readers consider me their friend. This includes people whose court cases I have covered.

"I am all too aware what has been written about me in the past, but I hold no ill will towards you because of it. In fact, you should, and keep doing what you do, as you're the only one that has the cajones to do what you do, and I support you for that."

"Please keep up reporting like this! You report on things that if certain backsides weren't exposed from time to time, our citizens might not know just how fk'd they're really getting."

Good and evil have nothing to do with being religious. This weekend for some is just a 3 day weekend. For others who celebrate Easter, will you notice that some people are missing to worship in community because their own fellow believers have done the "devil's" bidding.

For those religious, greedy political hypocrites who put up a performance and will, as usual, this weekend, you are not fooling anyone. You regularly attack the faithful in your houses of worship and abandon them and cause them to struggle. You have done it to me and many others. You are ungrateful for everything I did for you, helped you, the sacrifices I made. I stood by you and that cost me.

To those who attack me, who have retaliated against me, who are responsible for my struggles in Humboldt simply because I chose truth and to expose your evil deeds.  You have lied, smeared, gossiped, harmed me and so many others. If you believed and were decent people; you would repent, show remorse and stop. You have not and you won't. You won't apologize, you won't give me the credit due because you have never earned what you have; you took it and trampled on others; you think you do no wrong because you lack a moral compass and are not man or woman enough to admit your mistakes.

Kreis and others in Humboldt who are shocked that their "money" and "power" is not getting them the outcomes they desire think they are in charge, in control and the ultimate authority.  People came together, stood up for each other, didn't allow themselves to be intimidated and ousted an abusive, arrogant judge in a small rural county who thought he was above the law. This is a miracle in our lives today that overcame the darkness. 

It is unfortunate that the voters in the Second District threw away an opportunity to have a classy, strong, successful businesswoman represent them and the County of Humboldt. Those voters and their apathy, weakness and selfishness has an impact on the rest of us and they owe Humboldt an apology.

Those who do evil and those who give this evil a pass for their abuse worship money. Their "status" is bought; not earned. Their evil actions show who they follow. I don't expect these arrogant, self absorbed, selfish people to read these words, listen or change their ways. Their reaction to the truth for decades is to attack, destroy and fear. If they had a conscience, I would not have to share these scriptures again.

20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:20: 21

There is no difference between the hateful troll who has a meltdown every time I do a post like this and the Pharisees and Saducees and who will go to church this weekend faking  piety.
