Saw this in Old Town before, now right next to Eureka City Hall

It's been at least a couple of years since I saw and photographed similar destruction in Old Town. This one is near Eureka City Hall. I can still smell smoke.



Donna Wood, Interim Director for City of Eureka Community Services said, "The cost of each bin is $150.  We purchased a surplus several years ago to have replacements for when bins are damaged. We have been notified of this incident and have scheduled Recology to bring replacements out as soon as possible."

EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell said, "A formal report was not filed with EPD but the fire was called in and Humboldt Bay Fire responded."

4:30 p.m : Passed by this afternoon and City of Eureka crews had already cleaned up the mess.
