Yesterday during school hours, blocks were cordoned near Eureka High school on J street. Law enforcement was going house to house. School was not on lockdown.
I contacted Fred Van Vleck from EHS, EPD and HCSO.
EPD's Brittany Powell said, "The officers were in pursuit of a warrant suspect after the suspect was seen driving by an off duty deputy. The suspect was first seen near the golf course and the search ended near the 1700 block of I Street. The suspect was not located and officers cleared. "
There was also a medical emergency incident.
