Mario Alexander's fate is now in the hands of the jury

The jury in alleged molestor Mario Alexander's case was escorted by the bailiff at 3:30 p.m. to start their jury deliberations.

At 10 a.m. Judge Christopher Wilson read jury instructions. At 10:30 a.m. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads started her closing argument. After lunch, Mr. Russ Clanton gave his closing argument, followed by a brief rebuttal argument from Ms. Eads. Then, Judge Wilson gave brief concluding instructions to the jury.

The difference between Ms. Eads closing and Mr. Clanton's closing was that Ms. Eads used the law, testimony and evidence; Mr. Clanton made assertions and inferences. The verdict of guilty on all counts obviously illustrates what worked.
