Crystal Bigham, a staff person at Forbes and Associates in Trinidad said she didn't know Black. The first time she saw him was May 15, 2018. She said she did not know Russ Clanton but she had heard of him. Yet, she took it upon herself to write a unsolicited letter to the DA about a visit with Black.
Her entire testimony was her opinion, her boss' opinion. Black left the office willingly. Police were never called.
HCSO Deputy Shane Steele added some details, some quotes Black said but he has no body camera, no recorder. Wrote three quotes based on his notes later that day when he came back for night shift. Deputy Steele went to school with Russ Clanton's son.
Juror #6 and Juror #7 asked great questions. It indicates that they are paying attention to the he said, he said claims and what information corroborates which version.
