Does Ray Christie own the cow involved in traffic collision this a.m.?
Reader just forwarded me a CHP incident about a traffic collision this morning at 5:21 a.m.; Hwy 101 and School Road off ramp. A black cow ran into the reporting party's truck. At 5:43 a.m. Inquiry if this is Ray Christie's cow.
Have reached out to Ray Christie about this incident. Emailed CHP as well.
Update: I spoke with Ray Christie, the cow was not his; in fact he ended up helping CHP corral a calf later last back to where it came from. Ray Christie thinks that calf was probably looking for it's mother (the cow involved in the morning collision). "Why did my name come up on the incident report," said Christie. "There are three other people that own cattle near that highway. I have not had any cattle up there for about two months. They are assuming it is my cow.
According to Christie, law enforcement buried the cow from the morning collision in a ditch.
