If you can help, please message Nazy Javid for the address. Nazy and her family are dear friends. I am sharing this Facebook post with her permission.
"Hi friends, I am posting because I am in desperate need of community help. As you know, my family lost their home in the Camp Fire."
"First we'd like to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love and support you have shown us. We are nearly three months in, but the journey is not over yet. By the grace of God and a lovely community member, we have been able to secure housing that is large enough to house my family and their pets, and is also within their budget. However, we have a lot of work to do to get the house into shape for them to move in, and time is of the essence!"
"I am asking you my friends, if any of you are able to SPARE A FEW HOURS on SUNDAY FEB. 3 in the morning (before Superbowl) to come help us pull out the flooring and gut the home so we can start painting and get vendors to come in and install new flooring, electrical etc. The home was a 215 grow, so we just need some help getting it into shape for my family."
PacOut Green Team's Aaron Ostrom has so generously offered his tools, time an trailer to help us with this project. If you could afford to take a few hours in your day to help us achieve this goal, we would be forever grateful! I hate to ask for help, especially after all the help you have so selflessly given so far. But I wouldn't be asking unless we really needed it.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH for showing my family what an AWESOME COMMUNITY HUMBOLDT IS! We are BEYOND GRATEFUL. Words are not enough to express the amount of gratitude we have in our hearts for each and every one of you who has softened the blow of this emotional experience. Some of you we know, and some of you we don't. But we never take it for granted. You are in our prayers of gratitude every single day. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!"
