Trial setting was scheduled for Mexican citizen Hugo Aguirre on January 9. It has been continued three times. Trial confirmation on May 29. Jury trial for June 17.
Aguirre is charged with attempted murder of Deputy Rosalie Freixas; attempted murder of Carol Fuentes; false imprisonment of Courtney Schlapicohl and assault with a firearm on Sgt. Greg Musson.
The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Aguirre is represented by Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell.
