Jane Doe #2 admits to having sex with her stepbrother

Day 3 in the Mario Alexander case started with ruling on questioning of Jane Doe #2 according to California evidence code 782 and several breaks where Judge Christopher Wilson held 402 hearings. These hearings were about what evidence is admissible.

Jane Doe #2  concluded her testimony which included her admitting to sex with her stepbrother. This happened after the alleged molestation by her stepfather, Mario Alexander.

Then Dr. Anthony Urquiza from UC Davis testified about Child Abuse Accomodation Syndrome. He is a psychologist, a professor at the Department of Pediatrics and the Director of the  CAARE Center  a child abuse treatment program.

There are 5 parts to the Child Abuse Accimodation Syndrome: Secrecy, Helplessness, Entrapment, Accomodation, Delayed and unconvincing disclosure, Retraction and Reconsideration.

"Being sexually abused is not something you try and remember," said Dr. Urquiza. "You don't log the abuse."

Despite a fiery attempt at cross examination by Mr. Russ Clanton, who raised his voice and was very frustrated he could not impeach Dr. Urquiza.

Then Julianna Alexander, Jane Doe # 2's mother testified. We learned that Mario Alexander had been in jail but Judge Christopher Wilson said he was going to strike that portion of testimony from the record and told the jury they could not consider it in their deliberations.

HCSO Deputy Eric Morris and HCSO Sgt. Greg Musson were the last two witnesses on Monday. Both were very brief.
