"If any other person would pollute our environment like this, they would be held accountable."

A video made by local business owner Travis Schneider has been shared on social media and is generating quite the buzz.

I spoke with Mr. Schneider today. "This is not about homelessness," he said. "We are not going to fix homelessness. My concerns are what are we doing to minimize the harm to our environment, businesses and the community."

"There are a lot of resources in this area for those who truly want help. Certain people are not going to avail themselves of that opportunity."

"I don't know where the City Council members or staff live, but I can assure you some drive past this every day.  What makes this behavior acceptable to our City officials? Why are we allowing no enforcement to mitigate this type of behavior?"

"If any other person would pollute our environment like this, they would be held accountable."

“When we recognize an invasive species in our environment we take extreme measures to curb its spread and impact on our environment, however we accept behavior such as this, not only in our town, but on the main corridor in and out of town adjacent to the bay”

"We are making it comfortable for a certain element to inhabit, intimidate and destroy the beautiful, natural place many of us choose to make our home."
