Intervention was scheduled for Marci Kitchen at 4 p.m. today.
A review hearing and questionnaire conference is scheduled for 3 p.m. on August 17. A motion hearing for change of venue is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on August 27. Jury trial is scheduled for September 4.
Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting the case. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell is representing Kitchen. Judge Kaleb Cockrum met with attorneys privately in chambers, then attorneys and Judge Kaleb Cockrum came out. Judge Cockrum said, "We are not going back on record, dates remain as set."
