Another alleged local chomo with 17 counts and two victims wants his day in court

Everett Leroy Spillard is no stranger to the Humboldt Superior Court. Family Law, Traffic, Criminal. Today, was the first day to start jury selection in his 2017 alleged sex abuse case.

Spillard was held to answer on 17 counts after his preliminary hearing. The original complaint was amended twice. The number of counts remained the same. Two alleged victims; Jane Doe #1 and Jane Doe #2.

Photo above is from his facebook profile. Apparently, a friend has access to his account and has posted that he is incarcsrated, that a jury is being picked this week and information about his attorney.

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Spillard is represented by Deputy Conflict Counsel David Lee.
