A hearing on the amended complaint filed by the District Attorney in former Correctional Deputy Cory Fisher's case was scheduled this morning. The Public Defender's office declared a conflict. Conflict Counsel was appointed.
Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads said that she had discussed the possibility of the continuance with the alleged victims in the old complaint. Not yet with the three new alleged victims. All six alleged victims are males and minors at the time of the abuse.
Fisher had a preliminary hearing scheduled for January 11. That has been vacated.
Both, arraignment on the amended complaint and any possible opposition to it was continued to the same day as the hearing for a gag order scheduled for January 17.

Why should he have a Gag Order? He’s not special, he doesn’t deserve special treatment. If the Gag Order is at the request of his victims, then I feel it should be granted.
