Motion for gag order granted for former Correctional Deputy Cory Fisher

Former Humboldt County Correctional Deputy Cory Fisher was scheduled to be arraigned on an amended complaint this morning. That was continued to January 23
because Deputy Conflict Counsel Marek Reavis had not received the file or seen the complaint.

The motion for a protective "gag" order requested by the defense was granted.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads did not object. Deputy County Counsel Natalie Duke appeared on behalf of HCSO, who agreed with the request for the gag order.

The new charges allege sexual abuse of three additional minor male victims. The original complaint alleged sexual abuse of three minor male victims and nine felony counts. (original complaint pictured below)

A motion for a protective "gag" order was also scheduled for this morning

Conflict Counsel's office was appointed at the last court hearing since the Public Defender's office declared a conflict.
