Judge Roger Rees?

The press release that Judge Dale Reinholtsen was retiring at the end of his term in December 2018 just went out yesterday.

Just a few hours later, I heard Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is considering applying for that vacant Judge position.

While he has successfully prosecuted many cases such as Mark Nero, Sean Blackmon and others, the two that most people will remember are Juan Ferrer and Jonas Semore.

He was also one of two Deputy District Attorneys in the Josiah Lawson case.

I did try and see if I could talk to him yesterday and today. Sometime this week, I am sure I will see him. Whether he is ready to confirm or not is another question.
