On the March 21, Board of Supervisors meeting, the County Administrative office is asking that a "Memorandum of Understanding with the Superior Court of California, County of Humboldt for the Appointment and Oversight of the Chief Probation Officer" be approved and authorized this item and all subsequent amendments to the MOU.

Humboldt Chief Probation Officer Shaun Brenneman knows how to play the Humboldt game. He knows his job is secure and he is arrogant. Brenneman can do that because he has ingratiated himself to the "right" people at the County and courts.
