Checked on the Shadowlight Ranch LLC lawsuit yesterday. On 7/28. no settlement.Another settlement conference on 3/21. Again no settlement but three days later, there was a joint notice of conditional settlement. Since then, mostly all that keeps happening is dates being vacated and reset.
Readiness Conference on 1/23/23 continued; jury trial on 2/14/23 vacated. Hearing on 3/15 was vacated. On 3/17, motion to continue trial was granted. 3/24/23 joint notice of conditional settlement and order
A hearing on motion to strike continued to 4/7. Readiness conference previously scheduled for 4/14 vacated; jury trial for 4/17 vacated. Another readiness conference on 5/5; jury trial on 5/8.
5/8: Readiness conference date for 5/5 vacated. Instead of court trial on 5/8, a status conference was held. Attorneys say possible agreement being completed. Another status conference on 6/9/23.
7/14: 8/18 status conference.
8/18: Status conference continued to 10/23.
10/23: Parties close to a settlement.
9/13 Readiness conference on 9/13/24; court trial on 9/16/24.
