This is what Trump tweets while his supporters attack police and storm inside the Capitol



Capitol police trying to protect elected officials and press and government property while  thugs with Trump signs and Confederate flags vandalize the Capitol, break windows and shots have been fired.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi requested assistance from the National Guard. What took so long for them to be deployed?  Trump supporters ransacked the Capitol.







Curfew declared in D.C.

 


Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger called it a coup attempt.



CNN quoted Charles Ramsey, the former chief of the DC Metropolitan Police, called the breach of U.S. Capitol Wednesday afternoon by Pro-Trump protesters, "He stirred them up and got the whole thing going. This is as close to a coup attempt as this country has ever seen. That's what you're looking at, folks, that's what you're looking at and it's absolutely ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous, and a lot of people are responsible for this."


Jay Timmons, president and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, called on Vice President Pence and top White House officials to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump from office after the violence and vandalism at the U. S Capitol today by Trump supporters.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce CEO Thomas Donohue condemned the attack on the Capitol.
