Will this LA Times article make any difference in the recall campaign against Newsom?

Even after the January 6 riots, there is division among the GOP and conservatives. Some have denounced and left the party years since 2016; others did since January 6, 2021.

Yet, there are Trump supporters and defenders who don't seem to care about Q Anon, Proud Boys and make excuses for the undemocratic, violent actions at the U.S. Capitol. 

How many of the 74 million Trump voters are in California? Of those voters, how many will continue to sign and promote the petition against Newsom?
