After multiple reports that California Governor Newsom will end the regional stay at home order, some media outlets are reporting the state has confirmed this morning that it has ended the stay at home order today.
The California Department of Public Health said the four-week ICU capacity projections for the affected regions are above 15 percent, the threshold that allows regions to exit the order.
The Sacramento region exited the order on January 12 and the Northern California region never had the order in effect.
Curfew has been lifted. State will return to county by county restrictions based on data. Counties can chose to impose stricter rules. The reporting varies.
After court coverage and other news, if necessary, I will update the post.
