Jury trial set in July for Sean Allman

At trial setting this morning for Sean Allman, dates were set in his 2019 case.

In December 2020, Allman was arrested by Fortuna Police Department on two DUI charges,VC23152(a) and VC 23152 (f) as well as one charge of BP4060, possession of medication without a prescription. All three charges are misdemeanors and he was released on O.R.

There have been no charges filed for that arrest; atleast as a separate case. I have followed up with District Attorney Maggie Fleming and received a response from Deputy DA Eads. Am still communicating with the DA's office.

Fortuna Police Department sent the report to the DA on December 18.

In his 2019 case, Allman is charged with Count 1 Terrorizing or Obstructing Exercise of Religion. Count 2 is Criminal Threats. Both counts pertain to the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy DA Roger Rees appeared on the case for the People.

Mr. Ben Okin is Allman's attorney. Trial confirmation is on June 16; jury trial on July 19.
