Told you months ago there was a connection between Ignjatovic's case and the postponement of his preliminary hearing

Preliminary hearing was scheduled on January 13 for Jovan Ignjatovic but was continued by defense to January 20 and is scheduled for a change of plea.

It was also placed on the misdemeanor calendar as the resolution is likely to be for misdemeanor charges.

During the Demetrius Coleman trial, Ignjatovic testified for the prosecution and signed an immunity agreement. Before that trial in my previous post linked below, I brought up the postonement of Ignjatovic's preliminary.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward was in court for the People. Mr. Russ Clanton is Ignjatovic's attorney.

1/20/21: Another continuance requested by defense. Change of plea continued to 2/17. Fish and Game to visit property.

2/17/21: Ignjatovic pleaded guilty to the lesser charge in Count 1 as a misdemeanor. Balance of charges dismissed. No jail time. One year on probation. Fines included a $480 fine and a $150 restitution fine.

Weapons seized were forfeited. Judge Lawrence Killoran said all other conditions remain in effect. This was in response to proof of remediation of Fish and Game violations byDeputy District Attorney Amanda Sardis who was appearing for Mr. Steward.

Mr. Clanton said something to Judge Killoran. You could not hear either on livestream because of audio issues.
