Renters in Samoa have options in 2021 and that includes buying a home

The lack of housing, especially affordable housing, is an issue in Humboldt and in California.

Samoa doesn't make news often. I was chatting with Richard Marks, a resident of Samoa. It was just a casual conversation but from it came some positive news.

Marks mentioned the 80 units by Danco that are available. He also mentioned that in the next few months, many of the old houses will be up for sale.

"Every home in Samoa is a rental, "said Marks. "Some of the renters are going to buy them."
