Unsealing of Exhibit 3 in Ray Christie case leads to change in "original approach" by defense

There was a hearing scheduled this afternoon to address a supplemental motion to clarify a discovery motion and a motion to dismiss which has to do with double jeopardy.

The discovery motion was not mentioned today but the motion to dismiss was continued to February 26. The reason stated by defense was that after the unsealing of Exhibit #3 at the last court hearing, it changes the "original approach." There is a 20 page document that needs to be submitted to the Court and the People prior to the argument.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward and Deputy DA David Moutrie are prosecutors for the case. Mr. Moutrie was in court today.

Mr. John Cogorno and Mr. Ken Bareilles are Christie's attorneys. Mr. Cogorno and Christie appeared via Zoom.
