D.C. District Attorney General Karl Racine in an interview with MSNBC said Don Trump, Jr., Rudy Guiliani and Alabama Representative Mo Brooks all could face charges of inciting the January 6 riots.
The charges would stem from incendiary remarks made by all three at the rally shortly before the riots took place at the U.S. Capitol.
Racine, indicated it was possible that Trump could be charged once he leaves office.
"Let's just say first, those were outrageous comments that those individuals, including the President of the United States made."
"Whether that comes to a legal complaint, I think we've got to really dig in and get all of the facts. I know I'm looking at a charge under the D.C. Code of inciting violence, and that would apply where there's a clear recognition that one's incitement could lead to foreseeable violence."
